A few years ago I said I wanted to become a reader, and I’m happy to say that this year it finally happened. 13 books this year (not including the Bible)!! For someone who hated reading, that’s major! I found that I’m not a kindle/e-reader type of person. I like to see, physically touch, and underline the books. I like checking my progress every time I read to see how far I’ve gone, and how much I have left, and that keeps me motivated to finish. So here was my list this year:
1. ESV Study Bible (This is my foundation & daily standard. It’s what I use to test & compare everything I read.)
2. The Mingling of Souls by Matt Chandler
3. Mere Christianity by C.S Lewis
4. Who by Geoff Smart & Randy Street (about effective hiring practices)
5. From Me to We by Lucille Williams
6. The Masterpiece by Francine Rivers
7. Get Married by Candice Waters
8. The Surprising Secrets of Highly Happy Marriages by Shaunti Feldhahn
9. From Promiscuity to Proverbs 31 by Tanya Martin
10. The Bondage Breaker by Neil Anderson
11. Gay Girl Good God by Jackie Hill Perry
12. Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria by Beverly Tatum
13. Breaking Free by Beth Moore
14. Cooper Sun by Sharon Draper
